This lovely accommodation, is placed at the heart of Oporto city centre, at walking distance of the main sightseeing places and with easy access to beaches around also to the Porto wine caves. It has a terrace where you can sit and relax enjoying the view after a day full of discovering. It is on the same building of Apartment Oporto 12.

The flat is 70 m2 and is on the 1st floor (with elevator) of a blazoned building from the XIX C. It has been furnished to include:

• one living/sitting room with a double sofa bed, local TV, and DVD player;
• one kitchenette with electric stove and gas oven, microwave, washing machine, fridge with freezer and everything you can possibly need to have a comfortable stay; 
• one bedroom with a double bed (140 cm wide);
• one bedroom with a single bed;
• one bathroom with bathtub.

In wintertime it is heated with electric heaters.

This apartment for rent in Oporto is located at the Cathedral (Sé) Neighborhood, one among the 4 (Sé, Miragaia, S. Nicolau and Victoria) at Oporto historic centre, elected in 1996 by the Unesco as World Heritage.

Oporto's austere fortress-like cathedral (Sé) is where Prince Henry the Navigator was baptized. It’s origin dates from the 12th Century. S. Bento’s train station is also a must to visit due to the wonderful tiles. It is the beginning of the Douro line and has also connection to the subway and to the line from Campanhã (the connection to the north and south of Portugal).

From here there is easy access to the bridge D. Luis (built between 1881 and 86 after Eiffel's associated Teofilo Seyrig's design) and way to Gaia and the Porto’s cellars area, where you can taste some of the best brands. You are also at walking distance of the other historic areas, namely Ribeira, by the river.

The nearest metro stop is S. Bento (50m). The metro can also take you to Póvoa de Varzim, where is a big beach and also one of the most famous casinos. If you prefer you can go to Espinho, to the beach or the casino. If you want to go to Foz (the nearest beach at the North bank) you can take the tramway and will be there in 10 minutes; further there are buses to Matosinhos, where you can enjoy more seaside.

This is a fine apartment in the center of Porto, exactly opposite the Cathedral. The patio is large and splendid. The chime from the bells doesn't exasperate as compared with the cries of seagulls.

Mario, the owner, is very pleasant and hospitable. We found in the apartment all what we can devise. The surroundings are quiet.

The nearest parking is under Rua de Duque de Loule (the entrance from the crossing with the Rua de Saraiva de Carvalho) . The short way from it to the apartment is through the Travessa da Rua Cha.
