Great 200 m2 apartment!!

Apartment number 96 is placed in the slope of on of  the 7 Lisbon hills, between Baixa and Bairro Alto at the second floor of the same building of apartment 15.

From there you can easily walk to most of the historic neighborhoods. It is on the second floor (as the terrain is steep, the back of the apartment corresponds to a fifth floor) of a building designed by the famous Portuguese architect Cassiano Branco. It is an elegant high ceiling apartment with smart design details like the fake window with artificial light at the top of the dining room, the furniture of the bathroom or even the original wooden floors quite well preserved.

It is very close to the subway stations Avenida e Restauradores . There is one public parking garage at your disposal within a 10 minutes walk.

Nearby you have all kinds of commerce, from the small stores to the most top international brands.

The apartment is 200m2 and has been renovated to include the following:

• two bedrooms with two single beds each (90cm);
• one bedroom with one double bed and one single bed;
• one bedroom with one double bed (160);
• one sunny living room with big windows, and nice view over the gardens (Jardim do Torel) and roofs behind and also to the Castle. It has a sofa, satelite TV and stereo. It communicates with the dining area with a big and nice table.
• a complete kitchen with gas oven and stove, fridge with freezer, microwave, washing and dryer machine and dish washer;
• a bathroom with a bathtub;
• a small toilet near the kitchen.

In wintertime it is heated with electric heaters.

The upper floor (6th) of the building has a communal terrace with amazing views over the city.

UMTS internet connection with USB plug can be provided upon request (10,00€/day).

Apartment 96 is in the historic centre of Lisbon, next door to all kinds of traditional commerce, fashion shops, numerous cafés and restaurants of all kinds, banks, cash machines, public transport (subway stations Avenida and Restauradores ) 24 hour taxi stands, etc. There are several other apartments at Baixa.

It is also a short walking distance from the other picturesque neighbourhoods of Castle (S. Jorge), Alfama, Chiado, and Bairro Alto, or to the transports that can take you around to all the sightseeing places in and outside Lisbon, including Sintra. and Cascais or the beaches near Caparica and the Estoril coast.

The street is Rua de Santo António da Glória, near Praça da Alegria, and the 19th C  funicular of Glória which takes you to Bairro Alto. It is also, near Baixa and behind Avenida da Liberdade place of smart fashion shops, hairdressers and also to health clubs.

Bairro Alto dates back to the 16th century and is characterised by its small workshops and restaurants. By day, it is a quiet sleepy area (recently pedestrianised); by night the area becomes alive and is a popular place to dine and drink away the early hours.  

After the great earthquake of 1755, when the centre of Lisbon was destroyed, a new centre was constructed, made of grid pattern “geometrical streets. This area, situated between Praça do Comércio, Rossio and Praça da Figueira is called Baixa.

The nearest airport is Lisbon International Airport at 12 kilometres; the nearest railway station is International Station of Santa Apolónia at 5 kilometres.

We really loved apartment 96! It is very well located, espacious, luminous, and very comfortable, not only for a short stay.
I would stay at this apartment during my following visits to Lisbon if it had again a good discount as this time.

Hi there, We did enjoy our stay in Lisbon. Apartment was selected due to it's location, size, interiors.
Especially nice was the fact that you had a link to the floor plan in PDF. It was a decisive point for me since I'm an architect, and I could share it w/ my party of architectural friends :)

I'm giving the highest marks for this apartment, we were never disappointed. We stayed in it twice, use this data for both cases. 
I loved to see floor plans for all your apartments, this is like taking the information about an apartment to a new level.

Thank you for the prompt service. Vanessa was very helpful.
We will definitely be using the apartment again if we return to Lisbon. The location and size was great. Even though it only has one bathroom we did not find this difficult. An excellent weekend was had by all our party and they all commented on the apartment.

The apartment is beautiful and very clean. There was plenty of room for our entire group. It is way better than any hotel room and better than the suites we were considering instead. It was located in a good area close to public transportation and shopping. The only problem was that it had only one shower so for a large group it took a long time to get ready to go out.
