Apartment in Lisbon 52 - Cais do Sodré (managed by TravelingToLisbon)

Apartments 51, 52 and 53 are located on the 4th floor (no elevator!) of a renovated 18 C building Cais do Sodré.
Nearby you have various forms of traditional Portuguese commerce, and from there you can easily reach most of the popular sightseeing spots in Lisbon.

It has 40m2 and has been entirely renovated and remodelled to include:

• one bedroom with a double bed (140 cm wide);
• a living room with sofa bed (2 people), cable TV and Hi-Fi; 
• a kitchen with all you need including electric oven and stove, fridge with freezer, microwave, washing machine and dish washer;
  a bathroom with shower.

The apartment has air-conditioning.
It has also cable internet connection.

We will welcome you with a bottle of cold “vinho verde”.
You will also find in the apartment various CDs with typical Portuguese music to complete your cultural experience in Lisbon.

This apartment has been renovated in 2007.
From only one huge apartment, the owners built 3 different ones (51, 52 and 53). There are several other apartments at Cais do Sodré.

They are located at Cais do Sodré, almost in front of the subway station with the same name.

From this place you have easy access to all of the sightseeing places of Lisbon, like Belém (by Bus or Tram), Baixa, Bairro Alto and Chiado.

Very close to the apartment you can catch the train to the beaches around Cascais (Estação de Comboios de Cais do Sodré) and also the boat to cross the river (Take the boat (Cacilheiro) at Estação Fluvial de Cais do Sodré and in 20 minutes you will be eating fresh fish or seafood) or just sightseeing there.

The apartment is very close to Praça do Comércio, also by the river Tejo, centre of the Portuguese old empire.
From there and only at 5min walking you will be at Baixa, the heart of Lisbon’s historic centre.
You can also go up to Praça Camões (10 minutes), one of the most important squares dedicated to the Portuguese prince of the poetry, with the statue in the centre. In there you are very close to Bairro Alto (where you can find a lot of bars and restaurants open until 2a.m.)  and Chiado (with its antique coffees, museums, operas, theatres and churches).
You are next door to Mercado da Ribeira, one of the oldest markets in Lisbon (the actual building was inaugurated in 1882 but since the 15C this area has been used to sell daily products). This is the place where former Fado singer, the famous Amália Rodrigues was found singing and selling flowers. It still has the fresh products market and a renewed art-nouveu building, place to drink the famous hot chocolate and see some expositions. This market also has a fish restaurant and a bar with live Portuguese music.
Cais do Sodré is also very close to the funicular Bica (please see 14 for Bicas’ description).

The nearest airport is Lisbon International Airport, which is 12 kilometres away.

Je vous fais la même réponse pour les appartements 51. 52. 53. Ils sont idéalement situés dans Lisbonne, de grande qualité, bien équipés.
 
Je n'hésiterai pas à faire appel à vous si je reviens au Portugal et le conseillerai probablement à un ami. La personne qui nous à reçu était très sympa et nous a donné de bons conseils.

La mancanza dell'ascensore può farsi sentire ma le scale (quarto piano) sono ampie e luminose.
L'edificio è in buone condizioni, sede di uffici di agenzie di navigazione. Molto comodo per il treno per la costa di Estoril e per la metropolitana.
Parcheggio all'aperto a pagamento praticamente sotto casa. Parcheggi ad orario idem. Parcheggi liberi anche nei pressi (però noi eravamo lì ad agosto...).
